Ruth!

Been up most of the night. Both Florence & Nate were puking for England. Just going between rooms emptying buckets and changing bed clothes.
Have come into work early, hopefully Mavis has arranged for this IT chap to come early, I'll let him do what he needs to do and then I can go home to see how things are getting on.
Definitely can't go to grain this time. As well as not really wanting to cancel another weekend of plans (like we had to last time), this is out anniversary celebration - but Tasha has a date for some serious dental work (expensive), but its on the Friday. I'll have to be home on that day to look after the wee ones, but I feel she'l not be up to much for a day or so either.

Server Error

Wrote a really long entry yesterday, about everything that we'd done over the long weekend. And typically on our poor network at work it failed as I uploaded. I did my normal trick of waiting though rather than attempting another upload and getting repeat entries (but it was no good as all my text was gone anyway).
Had a great weekend and saw loads of people, Nate was ill but is now better. Mavis was out (and Beardy too) so it was a pleasant day in the office - although I was quite busy so didn't get to relish it quite as much as I would have liked.

Weekend

Much quieter this weekend, for the first time in weeks.
Caught up on chores, went swimming.
Had a great walk out with Nate on Saturday, he went on the push-trike. Thought that he'd be getting off all the time, but he sat on all the way round.
Ate well again this weekend had a great curry from Je-Ja-Jees on Friday, cooked jumbo king prawn pasta on Saturday and plenty of humous bagles and pitas in between!
Florence seems to have slightly different scholl holidays to most, so her second week should be quite quiet. Have booked a couple of days off and we planned what we're going to do. We noticed that there is a new ticket from the station, return trip to Brum, with a pass for the Think Tank. On the other day we're driving up to Leek and meeting up with Gill & Gordon for a day.

Sad TV

TV has all fuses blown. Need to replace the quick blow glass one inside and fingers crossed will have widescreen back again. Otherwise I'll have to get the TV guy in.

Went for a quick cycle tonight, first time in weeks. Very mild weather not nearly as cold as last time I was out!

Florence got a "positive postcard" in assembly this morning. We are all very proud

Getting better at squash

Much better game last night. Both of us running each other ragged. The result reflected the closeness too 3-2 (to Andy), but its the nearest I've got to beating him!

Disaster also struct while I was out. Tasha was watching TV and it just died!! Must look at this tonight.

Great game yesterday at Twickenham. We had some good seats, and saw almost everything. Couldn't beleive the crowds when we left, got sheparded by a load of mounted police to the station or town. Went for a few beers, then for Tapas in Putney. Drove back this morning.

Good day off work today, although I can't understand why I feel so wrecked???
Went into Derby (which is having some major renovation work done) and got Nicci's wedding present.
Hopefully get a good nights sleep ready for the rugby tomorrow!

Put to shame

Mark has been religously blogging good stuff, and well I haven't been blogging and wgen I do its shit! MUST DO BETTER.

Busy, Busy, Busy...

Not blogged for a week or so, but have been really busy at work. Getting dragged into another project. There is also alot of ear-wigging to be done at the closed door sessions about the new structure. A spanner will be thrown into the fire pot and derailment will start today!

Had a great game of squash (the best for some months) on Monday. I seemed to be playing 100's of times better than the last few weeks (but I still lost)

Looking forward to the week, the itinery is now out, and we are starting with Sausage butties at Martin's at 0930, for a 1000 departure to Twickenham. Hopefully that won't leave to much time for drinking (I am very worried Martin and Col are BIGGGGG drinkers). Will try to remember to take the camera and record the day for posts on Flickr
