...has finally got his dates (although he had to ask for them) for the op. He is due to have the pre-op on June 10th, just a collection of questions and blood tests, and the op proper is June 23 (thankfully not while we're away) - after admission the day before . He thinks that ITU will see him for 2/3 days and then he'll hopefully be on the ward for the weekend.
