Swiss Accuracy

England are out of Euro2004...

..but they shouldn't have been. Admittedly we didn't play well in midfield, and Rooney off injured was also a blow, but we defended superbly (especially Sol Campbell and Ashley Cole). And despite Portugal equalising after the lead we'd kept for most of the game, we kept on trying and didn't give up - this led to Sol Campbell scoring but the goal was then disallowed. Everything I've read and heard this morning suggests that that was a very poor decision by Urs Meier the Swiss referee.

Seems that they could be doubts on Rooney starting next season.

On a more positive note, the weather this morning seems to be great, which was predicted, but is correct, and also looks good for Sunday (maybe a BBQ??)

Tasha took her first setting rehearsal last night for one of her production numbers in Half a Sixpence - all went well. This was after she had been to JORPS to see about the class structure for Florence next year. Her best friends Maea and Harriott are in the other class (but Tasha things it will affect them more than Florence). Florence knows most of the people in her class and wasn't phased when we told her she'd only get to see Maea at break time!

After Dad's operation was cancelled earlier in the week, he is due to be admitted again this Sunday (hopefully things will go to plan this time). I guess a similar time frame as last time, meaning op on Monday, ITU Tues/Wed, visitors Thursday
