Dad

Dad was finally admitted to hospital yesterday (Sunday) and is scheduled for the operation at 0815 hrs this morning. Really surprised that Mum said it was only 3 hours (I'm pretty sure that last time he had it done it was at least twice that). Saw them on Saturday and both then and when Mum dropped him off was the most positive that he's been for ages.

The life laundry momentum continued and have moved the PC stuff to its true resting place at home now (i.e. everything can stay permanently connected without fear of small hands and teeth disrupting them! With that in mind completed the final 3 composites from this years holiday (after I'd done the ironing of course), but unfortunately won't get posted until later.

Finally got off my ass and sanctioned the line test for broadband too.

Wimbeldon was washed out mostly over the weekend, but some play was managed on Sunday.

Went for a run on Friday night, don't know quite what happened, but could hardly walk at times on Saturday, although the pain would go on and off. Yesterday, it only hurt when I had shoes on, and this morning appears to be fine. At one point on Saturday, I though an x-ray might be in order.

Looks like a great sunny day starting here, but is due to change.
